Imperfect Mom

With broken wings
raising angels
in a
cold
dark
place

head held so high
as she tries to hide
the
dangers
faced

all she can do
to pull them through
is push
on
and
pray

showing them strength
the whole d*mn length
for they'll
be
alone
someday

One thing you seem to do so effortlessly is put together interesting structures for your stophes. It worked very well in this poem.

I did not think it is a sad poem.....but a true one.....when i read it the first time....the first thing that comes to my head is the truth behind what the poem is saying.....arent we all the imperfect mom and arent we all trying as much as we can to make situations or conditions or living perfect for our kids and arent we all in the end will come to face and except the day when we cannot be there for them anymore.....and like the poem suggest the only thing we can leave behind is the experience or things we have manage to teach and convey through our own actions to our kids on how to survive.....and hope and pray that life will not offer them such hardship.

I read your three poems, up now.

They represents so well entire your force.
The feelings are crashing any form into space.

This is poetry.
These are feelings.

And you know it so well ...

I am looking patiently for your next poems, when it will be the time, with better feelings, as for you are so much strong and you'll give to all of us the Real Poems of the Real Forceful Feelings.

All the best to you,
Thks you came on here, too, for we could know you.

i like the symbolism, not depressing at all- very real. but it did not at first express the fear of raising a child and having to let them go, intensify your vocabulary and your writing will improve greatly. potential is there.
