I have applied for a job there. Is UNLV downtown, near the strip, or elsewhere in Las Vegas? Does anyone know? Thanks.

It's on Maryland Ave. between Tropicana & Flamingo ,which would place it just east of the airport and the strip.
For a reference point the MGM Grand is on Las Vegas Blvd & Tropicana

i could like to work out a franchise in Las Vegas. even with what others have pronounced, Vegas has a super sort of fan help for significant League baseball. besides the undeniable fact that, it is going to possibly not at all ensue. bear in mind the Pete Rose playing scandal? Or the Chicago Black Sox scandal? it could basically take one participant in Vegas playing on video games or the implication of gamers throwing a interest to make funds to reason yet another extensive scandal. i think of that the vendors (and doubtless some others) sense the temptation could be too super on the gamers and executives in the event that they have been playing video games in Vegas. The AL fairly desires yet another group interior the West branch, and Vegas is the suitable place for one, yet i think of the capacity draw back scares some human beings basically slightly too lots. notice that Vegas has an exceedingly common minor league group, the Las Vegas 51s, so as that they are no longer without baseball interior the section. they're named after section fifty one, and have an alien on their cap. they're an AAA associate of the l. a. Dodgers.

It's not far from McCarran Airport in the Southeast section. If you get on Tropicana and head east, you should run by it.

It is NOT "downtown," not even remotely close.
