Makes me think of Egyptian ideas, as they preserved the body and the organs separately with the belief that the soul/spirit would need the body to come back and rest.
I would say no, the spirit does not decompose. According to that idea, it sounds more like the spirit would get lost and have no place to rest. But I'm guessing on that matter.
However, whether you believe it is up to you, considering there's a nearly endless choice of beliefs on the afterlife.

you dont need your organs in the after life. If you keep them they will only decompose in the ground, or what do you think happens when we get cremated, they get burnt, so there must be alot of souls out there with no organs or bodies..Im going to donate mine for sure, cause there is a case where a person may seem dead with no pulse or heart beat, theres a name for it but i cannt remember, then the person might be buried alive. There have been so many cases of it.So if they take your organs out, at least youll know your dead for sure..There have been quite a few people that have woken up in the morgue, right before their funeral. There was one case of a rich woman that died, and they buried her with all her jewlery on. That night after the funeral, the grave diggers went back and dug her back up to steal her jewlery, They couldnt get one of her rings off so they went to cut off her finger, this woke her up and they ran for their lives. She got up and went home, she lived for many more years and had more children..Now in most cases when you are buried thats it, if you come back to life youll be stuck down there and slowly die. So it might be best to take your organs out then youll know it will never happen to you

You have your Physical body and you have your Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body. It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.
When you have passed over you don't need your Physical body it is useless and just decays, so the organs that could have saved peoples lives have been wasted

She is mis-informed. NO ONE needs his/her organs after death. Spirits DO NOT need livers and hearts! The spirit is indestructible. And do not believe the guy who says nothing happens after death. He's wrong.

Hihi, clever girl!
Yes it is true - you need all your organs in a second life.
You also need your blood, brains, heart and soul to be settled in earnest and a coupla eyes to see you through the rest of the ride.
Of course, if you die and get buried in mud then obviously you would not be able to come back unless you are a slug or worm or cricket type insect.
From comatose to the ends of her feet she withered away from this unto the next - her hubby none the wiser as he wept inside his whiskey glass...
