Hi. I'm trying to simplify this: 36/B=(36/30-B)-1. How am I supposed to do this? I know how to cross multiply, but im not sure how to do it if there are two fractions on one side. I know that the completely simplified answer is B^2+42B-1080=0, if that helps. Please help me! Thanks

Steve A is correct. I realize now what I needed to do: Just find a least common denominator and mulitply both sides by that. The LCD in this case is B(30-B).
