It is true that he is a ball-hog, but I heard something about a big man. Every good NBA champion has a good PF oor C. EX> ASpurs and Duncan and last year Miami with Shaq. Kobe needs a man that can do alot inside. KG is that perfect fit. So why won't L.A trade Odom, some draft picks and get Garnett. It is a good deal for both sides in my opinion. I might be wrong but remember Kobe with Shaq. Yeah, he wasnt a ball-hog.

Jordan never had a big man. There is no exact formula to win rings. The team with the most good players usually wins.

Garnett will not come to the lakers.
He has said as did Grant Hill he wants to go to Phoenix.
He is friends with Nash.
Also given Kobe has fought with Shaq, and wants Bynam
traded, Garnett probably knows what will happen if they
don't do well together. I don't blame him for not wanting
to be a laker.

because Minnesota is asking for more than just than Odom, Bynum and a handful of draft picks

Like everyone in LA said, Mitch Kupchak the Lakers GM is dumb as he is afraid to make the right moves and even if he does make some moves they are pretty dumb...example: trading CARON BUTLER AND CHUCKY ATKNIS for Kwame...what a bust that was

THe lakers had a chance AT LAST YEAR'S TRADE DEALINE to give up bynum, kwame and 1st round pick for Jason Kidd...yes that was the offer but NO Mitch Kupchak thought Kidd is too old and he is very ineffective and look what happened now

Remember this, it takes two teams to make a trade, if Minnesota don't want to let go of KG, there is nothing the Lakers can do. They did offer Bynum and odom, its not on the Lakers if the other team don't want to work something out.

He's a ball hog because he is the only one on his team that can shoot. If there was someone else that could shoot efficiently, effectively, and consistently then he would pass a lot more. They wont trade because the only other "good" player is Odom and Minnesota wants more for their "star" player.

I agree that Kobe doesn't pass because he doesn't trust his team mates..If some one goes on the Lakers that Kobe trusts he might pass the ball

I agree with Mr.Basketnutz...Jordan didnt have a big man and Melo doens't have one either...no one needs one..it would be helpful but all starz like Kobe don't need one.
