yes and no, do you have rent history? if yes u such good and if not you will have to pay a high deposit. the deposit will be high but no need to pay in advance unless u have eviction on ur rental history. have you try to rent something yet? if not try and see why they will not rent to you and only then make ur proposal of pay 6 months in advance.

Why would someone who has a year's rent in cash available to them not purchase a home?
As a landlord if you had the cash to pay up front for a full year I would run a criminal check on you and if it checked out I would rent to you. My concern would be that once you have paid all that money up front you have no bargaining power. The landlord can pretty much treat you any way he wants, you cannot withhold rent to get him to fix any problem since you have already paid the rent. If you choose to break the lease you loose whatever rent you have pre paid.
If you cause problems the landlord can most likely find a way to evict you and keep all of the money that you have given him.

In most cases, when a person has no history of credit, only money talks louder. So you should have no problem!

yes with good kind honest nature and regular honest life style with no crimnal record.but where you been living before goodness records can be taken from there too so don't worry if you are moving from there for some other reasons.
