Like Enoch, Elijah, and Jesus did at His Ascension. It has something to do with "not" feeding the destructive, recycling aspect of Creation. According to something Christ said in the Gnostic Gospels.
The avatars of India are said to dematerialize their physical bodies and take them with them. And can actually rematerialize it and come back for a visit. Which would give credibility to the Book of Mormon that says Christ came down and visited Hebrews that lived in America after His Ascension!
And might explain later sitings of Christ. Though I doubt He died of old age. Spiritual warriors of many cultures leave when they get ready!

. I've read that we have a 'fine physical body' which is connected to out material body by a silken thread. When we die, our body deteriorates here, but our soul is incorporated by the vibrating pure body in the ether, I guess we are something like ghosts, and able to walk through physical matter if we return for a visit.

All of my studies on quantum physics and super string theory supports the ideas of extra dimensions, and the requirement of consciousness in the equation of reality. Everything you do counts. Your energy (soul) is a product of everything thing you do, every word you speak and every thought that passes through your mind. They exist eternally. Everyone who has done some work on ghost hunting knows that these "ghosts" are all manifestations of energy. They cause changes in temperature, move things, make sounds, etc.. They are all energy. Are there dimensions where spirits inhabit? Yes. Reincarnation is hog-wash, simply mindless speculations. Think about it. If your spirit is nothing but your life experiences in a form of energy, then all you would need is your energy to touch another person's energy and you'd mix your life with another's. All those reports of reincarnation only prove that your soul is energy and it can touch the energy of another's. It does not prove that people are being reborn, and reborn endlessly, nor does it prove that bad people are reincarnated as animals (most animals are better than people!).

Mormons are taught that everything was first created spiritually before it is manifest in a physical creation: People, animals, tree, plants, mountains, oceans, fish, amoebas, bacteria, viruses and radiation, although the last can be thought of as a form of 'light' and comes from god directly.

As a result, all spiritually created things will be resurrected back to there perfect frame, so all the hair we shaved off will be intact, plus all the dead skin cells be restored, as well as intestinal flora. We will be big hairy ugly suckers.

What will be absent is 'blood', which puts resurrected mosquito's at somewhat of a celestial disadvantage.

We live in our Physical body and we have a Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body. It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.

Our Physical body stays, it is the Etheric body that goes to the other side : )
