Bush is a puppet. D*ck Cheney is behind this "exercise". So dont be surprised if Cheney asks Bush to make some stupid comment and keep the troops out there. Or maybe, they'll "fake" a bomb blast out there like in Hollywood movies and will tell the world that the troops need to stay here to maintain law and order. Lol

And if troops go, so will the control over the Iraqi oilfields. Thats what Cheney doesnt want as "his" oil company would run into huge losses, severly denting his "retirement plan".

The phoney 'reports' that are being touted are merely a shell game to continue the 'game' until the end of Lil Bush's term. There are now more private contractors in Iraq than soldiers. The subjugation of the Iraqi people did not begin with Hussein, why do you think the Brits were so eager to help. History teaches many things, but we never learn.

He'll wait until the official report and base it on that and the request of the Iraqi Parliment. It would be silly to base the decision on just one person, considering the methods used by the enemy.

These decisions ultimately fall on one person, President Bush, but leaving because an Iraqi leader gets tired of the nonsense spread by those elected leaders in our country who keep yelling at the Iraqi's to hurry up so they can pull the troops out.

If I was subjected to such a barrage of complaints, I might say, "You can leave when you want," as well.

Needed for what? That's the $64,000,000 question. They're not needed for security, because the situation is worse wherever they are. They're not needed to protect the private contractors, because each contractor has their own private army. I have yet to understand what the mission of out troops is, at least in the big picture, other than make life as difficult as possible for as many people as possible.

Of course. The true reason we are in Iraq is so we can establish not only a presence but also a military base in the middle east so we can invade Iran or Syria on false pretenses.

It's doubtful that he will keep them in Iraq, however most people in the know, believe that Nouri al Maliki is blowin smoke. We will see if he steers away from his comments about no longer needing the American forces.

yes, he does not care at all about the Voice of the people or the rational voice of Congress. He cares about tax cuts for the wealthy and getting paid for the no bid Contracts in Iraq.
The Impeachment of Bush and Cheney is the only course of action for Democrats in Congress. The people have spoken on this issue.
