legumes such as black eye bean, broad beans, kidney beans...
these plants have nodules on their roots which traps nitrogen.these can be incorporated into soil as mulch while farming to enrich the nitrogen content of the soil.
decomposers/scavengers such as bacteria,worms,maggots,flies...these break down materials naturally helping to maintain nature's recycling system, hence very essential to the life of man.

Plants: most plants with green leaves are VERY usfull to mankind, a process called photosynthesis ocours within them that releases oxygen that is very handy for humans and animals alike.
Animals: Predators: humans are pretty much beyond being eaten my most stuff now, but further back in time, if you couldn't learn how to climb a tree or sharpen a stick then you would have been eaten by bears and tigars, this meant that the humans that survived these predators went on to breed. there jeanes are in the human race we see today this process is natural selection, an idea thought up by a man named darwin. look it up if you are intereted.
Hope this helps
