I don't know what you mean when you say Ramones type (do you mean poppy?) I probably can't give you good pop-punk, especially not new. Good punk though, organized in (very) roughly decending order from melodic to not includes: This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb, early Against Me!, A.P.P.L.E., Bratmobile, The Mob, Toy Dolls, Krondstadt Uprising, Stiff Little Fingers, Subhumans and/or Citizen Fish, Operation Ivy, Naked Aggression, A//Political, Thatcher On Acid, Bikini Kill, Crucifucks, Propagandhi, Los Fastidios, The Partisans, Reagan Youth, MDC, Flux of Pink Indians, Dead Kennedys, Crass, Choking Victim and/or Leftover Crack, Refused, Orchid, Conflict, Discharge, Limp Wrist, Antischism, Nausea, Fleas and Lice, Dystopia, Disrupt. Um, I think that's enough.

Check out the Baseball Furies, originally from Buffalo and now living in Chicago I believe. These guys take it back to the garage and burn it out with three chord bliss. Highly recommended. Another band that's been around for a while but takes a page from The Ramones is The Queers. "Love Songs For The Retarded" is a funny as hell album.

Check out the Distillers. Also, The Transplants, Anti-Flag, Authority Zero and Tiger Army. These are all newer bands.

Good New punk. That doesn't exist. The only good stuff is from before this decade. If you like the Ramones I'd suggest The Clash, Rancid, Social Distortion etc.

nofx, social d, bad religion, the unseen, critical me, pennywise, us bombs, the casualties, total chaos, funeral march, the virus, agnostic front, a global threat, anti-heroes, avail, blitz, blitzkid, the briggs, capitalist casualties, career soldiers, cheap sex, daredevils, dillinger four, the ducky boys, dropkick murphys, english dogs, final fight, flatfoot 56, flogging molly, flux of pink indians, icons of filth, kill your idols, lagwagon, nausea, rancid, lars fredrickson and the bastards, reagan youth, the righteous brothers, sick of it all (kinda hardcore but they can fit punk too), street dogs, subhumans, suffokate, tears for fears, toxic narcotic, tsunami bomb, the vandals, the varokers,
i dont understand why people say punk is dead. It really isnt at all. Ya there are a lot of mainstream shitty bands that say theyre punk but if you look at the underground there is a vast amount of punk bands out there. Some of them are old and some are new but they still do exist

well.. the best of punk has been left behind in the 70s and 80s with gang of four and the sex pistols. but lifetime is quite good... but its much harder than the ramones and the clash... still great.

I agree with Jay's list. ( of course i fyou cant tell by my alias )
Social Distortion, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Rancid, The Ramones,The Misfits, also one of my favorites not mentioned.. TSOL.
But newer ummm Tsunami Bomb is kinda cool, I kinda liked teh Groovie Ghoulies which is a sorta oingo boingo-ish band.

Ive liked mxpx but they are like greenday flavor , more pop, etc... Papa Roach looks punk but they sound more rock, I dunno there.
