I'm against hatred and intolerance. I requested some information from this organization and they sent me a package but didn't tell me how to join. Does anyone know how much it costs to join this organization? What are the yearly dues? Any information on this would be appreciated. Thankyou

I'm not certain how to join, but I suggest you call them at their 1-800#. It depends on the capacity in which you want to join, how you join. Many attorneys and law students donate time to SPLC and become members through their donation(s). Others actually apply for jobs. There is a human resources department that can help if you would like to work for SPLC.

It's non-profit sponsorship driven group.

You can become a sponsor by donating money to them. I'm sure there is a form in the material they sent you.

Most donations are as much or as little as you want to contribute, though I think the lowest amount listed on the form is $10 or $20.

Have you considered poking around their website to find the answers to your questions? I have provided their website below.

The Center is staffed by attorneys (and of course the support staff). I would assume that if you wanted to be a member of SLC, you would want to move to Montgomery AL and be a member of the Bar in the state of Alabama...or be a legal secretary, a Paralegal or whatever and work there.
