Was it good? I saw it on regular theater screen, and my family wants to see it on IMAX, but I can't decide whether to see it in 3d or regular IMAX. HELP!

My dad and both agree that its only worth going to an IMAX ONLY if its in 3-d. I mean, if you want a big screen than just go to a regular theater and sit closer than usual to the screen. IMAX and IMAX 3d are the same price no matter what. Plus, I don't think people get to decide if they wanna see Harry Potter in regular IMAX or IMAX 3D cause IMAX 3D was the way they designed it. You might as well get your money's worth and see it as good as it can get.

you have to check with your IMAX when I looked only the Arizona one had it in 3D the rest are 2D just like all other theaters but alot bigger.
I just got home from the IMAX and it was 2D but awesome.

Imax anything is better then the Orginal. Come on its harry potter you know you want to see it again..

u should see it in 3D
it's verrry stunning and worth the money.
and for an IMAX 3D movie it's verry cheap. i got mine for $13-something. only a $3 difference from the standard screen. =)

3D is better because i've watched it before and when you first watch the movie in the 3D the characters and all the objects in the movie looks like it's real like it's coming to real life. for example, i've watched My Bloody Valentine in 3D and when there was a guy throwing an axe in the movie it looks like the guy is actually throwing the axe towards you but it's not it just looks so real. so that's what 3D looks like -- things that look like it's coming to life but it's actually not. So i thinks your friends are just inexperienced and ignorant, no offense in my opinion. but come on! try it, at least! and if you all try it you could decide if you guys want to watch a movie in 3D again or not! so i recommend you to watch it in 3D. it was just unbelievably awesome. believe me...
