well use some neosporin but if they don't start to look better in a couple of days you really need to see a doc. you can get blood poisoning and worse so don't hesitate to go.
as for you cutting yourself...yes you do need help, even though you are trying to stop i doubt you can without someone helping you...there is no shame in that. the thing is if your cuts are infected and you need medical attention are you going to wait until you are actually brought in on an emergency to be treated? your parents and others will find out that way too. why not go to a doc your medical condition should be able to be kept secret and he will treat you unless he needs permission to treat you because of your age.

no matter if these cuts heal or become worse or not you need to seek the help of someone who understands. i know if i were your parents i would be more upset that you didn't trust me enough to confide in me and i would be shocked at first but i would certainly do anything to help you deal with whatever is making you feel like you need to do this. i'm not just blowing smoke either a good friend of my daughter does this and she has tried to stop many times on her own and for now she has but its only with the help of her loved ones that she is better. you really have to seek out why you feel compelled to do this or you will heal and continue to hurt yourself. too remember you are not alone, there are millions of young ppl who do this. good luck and take care.

Ok so i will tell you what the do but if the site these cuts are at, get worse, start weeping, or you start having a fever, then you must go to the md, and tell them, if not then the infection will take ahold of your boby, and then it would be to late. So here are the steps to cleaning infected wounds.

Need to go to store. Get these items.

1. Wound Wash
2. Hibcleans if you have the money if not Dial Liquid Soap.
3. Non Adherent Gauze pads. ( If the lacerations are open and you think you could have use stitches in those areas use the non-adherent guaze pad.
4. Nexcare brand of band-aids, get the size that will fit your cuts, or you can opt for the nexcare bandage it is water proof so you can shower with it, and also it covers more area than one Nexcare band-aid.
5. Betadine please get the generic form of this same stuff and TEN dollars cheaper.
6. Some 4x4 guaze to use for daily cleaning.
7. Some 2x2 guaze to use for daily appications of neosporin and intial application of the Betadine.
8. If it has been LESS THAN 24 HOURS get some butterfly band-aids if you have lacerations that need stitches.

Ok so you home with all of your things from the store, this is what you need to do.

1. Organize all of the supplies that you have, into guaze, Topical Agents (ointments, liquids, creams.), and bandaging items.

2. Wash you hands very well, then get a paper towel dry hands, then take that paper towel and turn the water off of the facuet.

3. Ok take the Hibcleans and put some of the soap onto a couple of 4x4, then add some wound wash onto the soapy quaze pad.

4. When cleaning scrub from THE INSIDE OF THE WOUND TO THE OUTSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5. Then take the wound wash and rinse off the wash that was applied by the 4x4 guaze pad.

6. Next Take the BETADINE WATCH will STAIN EVERYTHING. Grab a few 2x2 and add the betadine solution to the guaze without letting the top of the bottle hit the guaze pad.

7. Wash the wounds with the betadine patting the wound from the INSIDE OUTWARD. Use a NEW 2x2 for each wound.

8. Allow to dry, then take the Neopsorin, and apply with an applicatior like a guaze pad and apply to each wound. Here is the trick every new time that you open the Neoporin Tube squeeze a lil out before you use the ointment.

9. Apply bandages. You should at least change twice a day more if you are going to be outside a lot, if you are around a lot of dirt. Just if the banage is visubally dirty change it.

10. Do this for 2 days if it get worse or you devolped a fever, then you need to go to ER.

I know no help stuff. IF YOU DO NOT GET AN INFECTION after reading this and taking care of your cuts, then you have to at least see what is causing the self destructive behavior. If you get to the root then there will be no more self destructive behavior. PLEASE
Any question write back

Clean the cuts by pouring peroxide over them. It may bubble, but it is working to get rid of infections , also purchase Neosporin from the drugstore and place on the cuts. This will help prevent infection.

Well you can try neosproin ? on the spelling But that will help. Just don't let the cutting get to bad. My friend almost cut one to many times. Good Luck and I hope you can stop cutting

Signs of infection are redness around the wound, swelling around the wound, and pus like drainage.
