When will the world end?

If you mean Earth, then in about 5 billions years, when the Sun runs out of hydrogen fuel and expands into a red giant engulfing the inner planets.


It's disappointing to see such ignorance in what people refer to as "personal knowledge."

By world, I assume you mean the Earth.
Well, the Earth is forecasted to last about 4 to 5 billion years.
Somewhere along in that time period the Sun will have used up all of its readily available hydrogen gas and begin to expand many times its normal size. In the process, Earth will be consumed and everything will become one with the nuclear furnaces inside the Sun.

I would not worry to much about it if I were you. None of us will ever live that long. And, there is not any place you can run to and escape the huge increases in heat and radiation from the Sun when it enters this phase of existance.
