the algey is located on the outer shell . please help

get an algea scraper, the ones that look like cloth. hold you turtle(make sure his feet is planted on your hand) and wet the cloth and wipe it off.
wen a tank is by the sun, that causes algea to produce.

A thin layer of green algae on a turtle's shell is not a problem. If you wish to eliminate it, try some fo the products made for fish tanks to clear it out.

Also, consider a bigger and better filter, then change and clean the tank completely.

just wipe it off. its completely normal. you may have too much direct sun light on your tank.
