There are2 types of keyloggers, software and hardware. For detecting software keyloggers, you need to scan your computer with antispyware program(s). Spyware Doctor and SpySweeper are the leading 2 antispyware programs - both cost approx. $29. There are free antispyware programs but they are not as effective. Good free programs include: Lavasoft's Ad Aware, Spybot Search & Destroy and Microsoft's Windows Defender. You can find all 3 programs at www.filehippo.com

The hardware keyloggers are easy to find. They are small cylinderical pieces which connect directly to your computer. For a picture of a hardware keylogger, go to http://www.ghacks.net/2007/06/28/how-to-defeat-most-keyloggers-on-public-computers/

2. See your Task manager, to look for any unwanted programs, check via Ms-Dos the parent of the suspicious process.
