The ONE day of the year where I take the day off -- TREAT myself to a DINNER and Lunch OUT ... take time to really sit DOWN and yes, take charge of the REMOTE and watch what I WANT to watch on the TV ....
Let go of the chores, don't focus on anything except ...
KNOW that this Empty-Nesting Single Retiree does NOT have to EVER again have to TOLERATE another TOXIC person on my BIRTH DATE ever again!

Sometimes, in the past, I've gone out to eat. Sometimes, I bring food home. Birthdays are a celebration of another year to me but, for me personally, are no big deal. Just let me have my food! Ha!

It's my birthday today and I am at home doing nothing...someone is cooking supper for me and I am off work for 5 days...so it's all good
