Go to network connections, and try availabe connections, ex. linskys!!

Well, there are several areas which can cause a slow connection, including: a slow connection (i.e. dial-up or dsl versus cable), slow wireless card/router 802.11b versus 802.11g or n) and/or poor signal strength. If you are using ethernet connection, the length of the ethernet cable can affect connection speed - though unlikely. In each case, you need to go to the root of the problem. If you use a slow dsl connection then it might be time to switch to cable or satellite. If you use 802.11b, upgrade to "g" or even "n." For poor signal strength, decrease the distance between from router and adaptor or invest in a better antenna.

You have some choices so first you can either get a better internet service maybe even dsl or cable, or you can get more memory and that will make things move more smoother and help with your internet speed.

Move closer to the router assuming you are using wireless.

if you have a laptop w/ 802.11b/g, then you can get a dish to amplify the signal...highly recommended is the HAWKING dish. EASY and GREAT.
