I turn 15 in august and I'm having my birthday party next week. I haven't thrown one in a really long time. Most of my friends' parties are just going to the movies or hanging around their house, but I wanted to do something a bit different but not too expensive (that's not gonna fly w/ my parents lol). Any ideas?

Well have a theme. All my parties are different than the next. I had a 70's theme like 2 years ago, then I'm having glamour shots with my best friend this year, and also going to a broadway show is fun. Usually to make it even more fun I'll have a sleep over with just a few people from the party and we get to hang out more.

When I was early teens we had a Mary Kay lady come and give us all makeup application and tips. I think my family paid for each girl to get a new lip gloss or something. It's a little cheesy but if you and your friends are girly girls it could be lots of fun. It wasn't too expensive at the time, but then, I was 15 a pretty long time ago. Happy Birthday!

Have a costume party or something... Like a themed dress up party. You can get food that goes with the theme, and decorations and music. Could be fun.
