DIE HARD! No question. MI is lame. Maybe if they had someone other than Tom Cruise but he's just not cut out to be a tough guy in the movies. Bruce Willis, on the other hand, can pull it off and make John McLean (or however you spell it) believable even while doing totally unbelievable things.

Compared to MI, Die Hard is 'substance' whilst MI is just 'polish'. Not once in the DH movies does Bruce Willis have to convince us that he will take no crap. We can tell from the first time we see him, in every film, that he is to be reckoned with. Tom Cruise's character in MI, however, still hasnt' conviced me...lol Although, in MI3, I did enjoy the movie much much better than the first 2 and the action was more 'action' without all the goobitty-goo of the first MI. But those MI movies are like when someone farts. First you hear them fart. And even though you know it's a fart and that it's gonna stink, you try your best to smell it anyway....lol That being said and in relation to these movies, sometimes a good fart is all you need ;-)
