Depends on the circumstances..........
If they are an alcoholic, a cheater, a habitual liar, and you've lost all trust and respect in them, and they have no respect for themselves---then there really is no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt.

i stationed halfway across the world getting ready to go to Iraq at the end of the year and the girl i love is currently dating some other guy and just thinks of me as a friend and i haven't given up on her so either in your heart you don't really love this guy or your just lying to yourself and you haven't really given up on the one you love..
