I have a friend who wants to use his existing phone, but change carriers. He is in Bridgeton, NJ, and I am looking for answers SPECIFIC to this location. He has AT&T, but was told by an AT&T rep that we are in one their most porrly-served areas, so we can rule out AT&T. We can rule out Verizon, which I think it the BEST, because he does not have a compatible phone. This leaves Nextel, T-Mobile, Sprint and anything else you can think of.

If you have experience with any of these plans in Cumberland county, New Jersey, please share your opinion.

Thanks.

Terisu, you have no IDEA how many times I suggested that, but he has a really cool phone with a SIM card with all his numbers, camera lens front and rear, blah, blah, blah, and there's no convincing him that it would be easier and better. Thanks for feeling my pain.

i used to drive to bridgeton all the time, and I use t-mobile (and work for them, but could care less about promoting them). I've always had wonderful coverage in that whole area

Why can't he just switch to Verizon and get a compatible phone? They're not that expensive. We get a free phone every two years from them, and the service can't be beat!

I lived in Camden County for many years in my experience T-Mobile is the best choice for that area. My brother in-law has used them since early 90's still lives in Camden County and his service is great. We have family everywhere from P.R. to Wisconsin no problems w/ serv. and the plans are very reasonable.
