No, not anymore. I had to make a budget and put all the important things first, like, rent, hydro, telephone, transportation, food. I learned the hard way after I had no money left. CD's and other extras like clothes, DVD's and eating at restaurants are generally out. For clothes, I can sometimes find a lots things at the Salvation Army. Not only do you contribute to charity but a lot of times you can find what you need. Believe me, when it comes to spending money I have learned to live cheaply.

I'm usually quite sensible, but every so often I go a bit daft and buy something frivolous.
I just hate that sick feeling I get when I think I've made a mistake, and spent a lot of money on something that I either didn't need, or have changed my mind about. For that reason, I tend to be pretty careful about spending.

My husband and I pay the bills and buy the food first! If we have extra we stick some in the bank and spend some on our kids for clothes, toys, etc.

Yes I do.I don't realise it till I take something back to the store and get the cash back in my hand. This is something we all need to pray about. American's are wasteful people. If we lived like they use to in western days we would all be millionaires. They didn't have to have everthing. They lived off of the land and love from family.

You just described everyone over 12. Creating a written budget every month is the only way to change that habit.

Not to bad. I always keep a limit and try not to spend over it.
