The taskbar on my computer suddenly moved from the bottom of the screen to the right hand side. It has also doubled in width. I have windows xp, is there any way I can move it to it's origional position?

should be easy click and drag
and to make it go smaller, hover you mouse over the edge and wait till you get arrows up and down and u should be able to stretch it the way you want

Yes, click on the bar (on an empty area) and hold the mouse button and drag it back down to the bottom. Then point your mouse to the top side of the task bar, and you will see the black double-sided arrow. You can resize your task bar.

Hold down the shift key on your keyboard, and click on and drag the taskbar back to it's original position.

Right click on an empty area in the task bar, and make sure the task bar is not set to "lock".

Then, in the same area, left click and hold the mouse button down, and drag the task bar down to its original location.

unlock the taskbar by right clicking taskbar and uncheck lock the taskbar and there will be a line on the ent of it, drag it to where desired and relock the taskbar, i hope this helps you
