Actually, I see it as a great opportunity to educate. When I see one of these questions, I give logical, unemotional answers that don't attack that person, their beliefs, or their intelligence (or lack thereof).
While they won't agree with me in most cases, I've planted a seed. When they see someone's rational explanation, they just dismiss it. But the point is, they read it. And, maybe not today or next month or even next year, that seed could grow without them realizing it. Maybe it makes them more aware of how unfair they're being. Maybe it makes them see the other side if they've never heard or thought about it before. Maybe it won't change a thing. But the seed is planted. The person asking the question may not change their mind, but someone else who sees my answer to that person's question just might. That's why I answer.
Good journeys,
Asha

Lol When I read the part about "It's pointless to try to change their ignorant minds." Correct you are about that, yes I will join you in boycotting all the racist questions. They do it to get people riled up, and there's no point in letting anyone steal your joy.

I don't believe in being racist at all, but sometimes answering their questions, and really putting forth an answer that not only makes sense, but can be convincing too, just might make the person posing the question think a little. Of course, there's some that can't be helped (*cough* *cough* Robert Shelton), but there are those that can be changed by lending a kind answer.

I think it is pretty pointless in answering the trolls and all of their questions

Nah, it doesn't matter whether they're truly racist or some little kid trying to get kick out of it -- it's easier to ignore them than drag yourself down to their level. You can report them to Y!A, but they'll just create more profiles.

Hey, I just answer for the two points, that's the only thing those questions are good for anyway.

I will. Thanks for the suggestion.
You can often look at an avatar and know it is some kid or immature person trying to be funny or cause trouble.
Some people have no respect for anyone or anything.

Agree, yet I still feel the need to prove them wrong.
