I love their ability to always come up with something fresh. Roger Daltrey is a great vocalist and Townshend shreds on his guitar. I love their diversity from hard rocking songs to more mellow ones the Who is a band where I can put in a CD and never have to skip a song.They always put on a great show, as do the Stones, but the Who rocks a little harder so Who all the way

Why quibble? You can have them both... maybe I'd go for the Stones just that little bit more though... I think the Who don't have an album that could take 'Sticky Fingers'... still, that's a personal thing... the Who have the brains, no doubt, but the Stones have the muscle. I like Mick Jagger a lot more than Roger Daltrey, but I think Pete Townshend's guitar playing probably tops that of Keith Richards.
I like both bands, but I like the Stones just a little more...
