If it is the jack on the computer that would be a big deal because it will require laptop disassembly. If the problem is only that the latch on the cable is broken off just get a new cable with a good latch as a replacement.

If it is a jack problem then here is a cheap desperation fix if you can't afford the repair bill. You may be able to get a short cable with a male plug on one end and a female jack on the other. Plug the male into the loose cable jack and put some crazy glue to hold it. Now you have a dongle with a little extension jack you can put your regular cable into.

This could be a repair shop job.... depends on how confident you feel with opening up your laptop. Also, depends on the warranty you have on the laptop. Most likely, the screws that hold the Ethernet card in place inside your computer are loose.

As the Network card in your laptop is integrated to Mother Board, you have to repair the laptop to fix this issue.
