i don't believe i really like improvising, but i'm called on to do it all the time.
when i'm DJing for karaoke, and can't find the disc or the singer, i hate having dead silence while the crowd waits. i make some quick joke, or ask the crowd for a "hell yea" or something to cover the awkward pauses.
when i'm out mowing lawns, improv might save me a trip to the hardware store. i'll 'jury rig' something to make a temporary fix so i can continue on, if doing so is possible.
i once used a soda straw and black tape to make a fuel line when i had a leaky one. it worked so well i forgot about the "temporary" repair for over two weeks!

I will say SEX, without improvising it just isn't enjoyable for both the Man or the Woman, doing the same old thing every night just gets boring. When you improvise you could reach higher levels of pleasure.
