Blade seems to be uninteractive!!

You are at the beginning of the game, right? Are you talking about charging it up with red orbs to raise it to the next level? If so, (and this is a spoiler) you won't have this sword for long. You'll lose it as soon as you finish destroying the Colossus and attempt to beat Zeus.

Are you in the beginning part of the game? If so, and your trying to beat the Colossus, get behind the broken hand. Wait till the Colossus hits the wall. When he does that, stay away from the cracks with the blue haze. Run up to him and hit him a few good times until he becomes dazed. Use everything you got.
Quickly run over to the Blade and charge it and hit R1. The icon should pop on the screen. When the Colossus comes to, he'll knock you off the Blade. You have to keep dazing him and drain your power until you get it. Also, you can use the broken hand to hurl it at the Colossus. Once you have it, you have to defeat the Colossus from the inside.
It's a very fun part. If the game is having problems or the system, then you might have to get a new one. If this is not the answer you're looking for then disregard it. But I hope it helps.
