You could buy her a certificate for a day at the spa. Girls love to be pampered ;)
Also, gift cards for music/electronic stores (such as best buy, media play, fye, etc....), her favorite clothing store, or her favorite restaurant.
Whatever you do, do not get an American Express giftcard. My friends, family, and some of the customers I had when working in retail have had many complaints about them.
Teens also love plain and simple CASH.
I know people consider gift cards/cash to be impersonal, but I would much rather have a giftcard or cash to choose what I want than have someone choose it for me. Teens love to choose their own gifts.

It depends on how well you know her, but a gift card for a favorite store is good. If she wears makeup something from MAC.
