What is your definiton of being wealthy?? For me, it certainly isn't Halliburton making billions off of an uneccessary war, and thousands of not only the innocent Iraqi civilians, but our own U.S soldiers dying in Iraq.

Sorry to burst your overgeneralized assumption George T but odds are I have more $ in my accumulated checking, savings, stocks, bonds, IRA, CD's, real estate investments, etc. and probably more value in my house alone than you have in your entirety. But with all that considered, I am wealthiest because of the people and things in my life that my wealth had nothing to do with. Life is Good. Blessed Democrat in South Florida, USA.

No, it takes corporate fraud and corporate welfare and tax cuts for the rich! (Wealth redistribution)! You just steal the poors money, either directly, or off of their backs in labor! We aren't jealous, we just want our money back that you have been stealing for decades!

They know they can vote themselves a raise. Much easier to go into a voting booth every couple years than to apply yourself to a real job every day.
