I recently switched to cable service provider which gave me a modem as internet package but i wanted wireless service within certain area since i had it before and had grown used to it. I know the wireless works just fine when i am near the router but no sooner i go 10 feet away the network signal bumps down to very Low signal strength. This is annoying cuz i have a hotel and the customers stay atleast 20 feet away from the router. Am i missing out on something or shud i do something to boost the network? cud the router have technical problems? Thank you

You should probably buy the Wireless N router, which is the latest router. It has the greatest range, fastest speed (with cable), and no "hot spots". But too much user may affect the connection to be slower and slower.

Good Luck,

Well the router COULD have a problem but before you decide that just try changing channels!

Linksys ships on channel 6 -- so Just login to the router from a cabled machine as a preference, go to the wireless settings and try channel 1 or channel 11 (maybe try both) if the problem goes away your fixed.

Many things can interfere with wireless and finding a cleaner channel should always be the first step.
