That's a rather silly question.

You left out the choice of working to make patriotism a party platform.

I have to say partisanship is part of American history and the history of every other nation that is a democracy. Now do some people abuse it? Of course, but remember partisanship is a natural part of a democracy. People are going to disagree on how a nation is ran and what its direction should be. Does this make them unpatriotic? No. I would say not exercising your views and following someone else in the name of patriotism is not patriotism at all.

Live in a RedState in the SOUTH!

American patriotism, every time.

Talk about an unpopular view in some circles!

Democrat.

To clarify, protest can be VERY patriotic, if respectfully done with no name calling, sedition, unfounded rumors, just treatment of our representatives, etc.
As long as your country comes before your personal ideology.

Liberal Democrats are traitors who choose their party over America. This was most blatantly demonstrated by Harry Reid who continues to give aid and comfort to our enemies by saying we have already lost a war we are still fighting and according to our soldiers and generals are winning, and by Jack Murtha who, without evidence, has accused our soldiers of being murderers. Funny how liberal Demonrats love Kerry, who admitted to being a war criminal in Vietnam...

America is what matters. The other stuff is just a difference of opinion in how to do what's best for America.
