That is a reciepe for disaster! Don't do it! Propane tanks are more dangerous than people want to believe. Just because you see them at the corner convience store don't make them 'safe'. And what you propose is simply way too dangerous to contemplate!

There are laws against doing that. At least in this state. It will be cheaper to go to the gas station and have a licensed person do the filling for you. SAFER TOO!!!!!
