Isn't one president who thinks he's a god enough?
And no, I don't think Jesus would make a good president, as he clearly states that it's the duty of every man to make the business of his neighbor his own business. That might have worked well in an iron age agrarian society, but the relationship between the individual and the government has matured since then. I honestly don't think Jesus could handle working within the limits of the Bill of Rights. And as good a person as he was, as good a philosophy as he preached, that wouldn't make him a good leader of this nation. If Jesus were president we'd have a society straight out of Das Kapital. I for one don't want that.

No.
"Those who have two, give one to those who have none."
We need a President who understands, those who have two, borrow a third, start a business, HIRE the guy who has none, pay him a quarter of one a week, give him a skill, and produce 5 - and soon the guy who had none, to whom Jesus was going to have us give one, once, will earn one every week, and be a productive citizen, and have a skill that he can teach to his kids.
And income tax revenues will increase as a result, even though tax rates would be lower, because more people will have an income and incomes will be higher, thus the lower rate times the higher tax base would produce higher tax revenues.

Yes, but could He do the manipulations that politicians do. And how many citizens would be willing to follow, what to them, is a rather spiritual life. Think of what so many lifestyles would have to be changed.
Maybe He would make a good benevolent dictator.

With all due respect...I don't believe so. I don't believe in war for oil, but I also think that turning the other cheek is suicide.

He couldn't run, he wasn't a natural born American citizen, but he could have been a governor.
