Today I did my daily routine of checking my Betta and there is this white stuff on him that kinda floats when he swims. (It's attached, but long enough to trail). Is it ick? I put some Cure-Ick in. 10 drops per gallon.

It doesn't look like the picture, they are dread like and kind of hang off the Betta.

Not poop, I've had my Betta over a year. I just switched my Betta to a new tank.

That wouldn't be ich and is most likely a fungus. Fungus is usually very easy to cure and in fact your ich medication might sure it, but I would suggest you pick up some fungus medication and the store as soon as possible.

White Spot or Ich

This disease is caused by a protozoan which causes small white spots on the body & fins of the affected fish, causing irritation & repeated scratching against the gravel, rock or other aquarium decor.
