baby showers are normally pretty casual. I would say jeans and a cute top would be fine. But if you are unsure, call your cousin and ask. if its a surprise shower or something... just call whoever is organizing it.

Baby showers aren't, typically, "formal" unless the venue is a country club or an upscale hotel. Sometimes people throw "tea party" or "garden party" showers....but the invitations would specify more formal attire.

You'll be fine in the jeans and cami. Better to be underdressed than overdressed!!

Have fun!

Call whoever sent you the invite and ask.
a] If casual, anything goes - just make sure you bathed, and clothes have no holes. Avoid short shorts at BABY showers - they make the mom-to-be depressed. [ she'll feel really fat ]
b] If informal - step it up a notch - nice capris, skirt, or slacks - no denim. Wear a pretty top, and bring a second layer - some people really crank up the air conditioner when pregnant.
CODE of conduct:
1] no fat jokes
2] don't tell future mom she waddles, even if she asks
3] offer to help - then you can quietly observe everyone so you get hints for the future - most of us females go to several a year [ let's see - I am at least at number 75...].
Offer to write down who gave what gifts [ so she can write 'thank yous' later ] or to pass boxes to mom.
They usually have great food, so have fun!
P.S. if this is her first, get some of your favorite books from when you were little, or fav music.
If this is number two or more, also consider a 'relax time for mom' kit - bath pillow, eye mask that cools or heats, therapeutic bath salts.

If it's outside wear a skirt or a dress. Jeans are a no no for showers. Especially since it's summer, wear something comfortable but not too casual like jeans. Nice capris would work as well- not jean ones, cotton maybe. Have fun!

jeans and a cute tank or cami is fine, unless your cousin specifies that the shower is formal, which they usually aren't.

NOTHING DARK COLORED!!! Baby showers are supposed to be happy and light! Wear more pinks and whites. No, baby showers aren't THAT formal, so just wear a light-colored sundress or a tank-top and colorful pants.
