I like K-PAX, because the guy came from another planet traveling at Taqion speeds, which is several C's time the speed of light. Or, something like that. Anyone else like K-PAX?

Hi I liked K-PAX too. The problem with tachyons is that they require vast amounts of energy to SLOW to the speed of light. The less energy they have the faster they go. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachyon

K-Pax was cool
well, Tachion speed describes speeds exceeding the speed of light.
as of Einstein nothing can travel at such speeds if it has a mass.
Obviously K-Pax managed that in one scene where he vanished and returned in the very same moment ... lol ...bummer or shall i say hoaxter

specific findings along with particles below the planck scale may indicate that tachionic speeds might happen at subatomic levels.
Feynmans QED talks about advanced and retarded particles along with the way light behaves .. very interesting, but not yet completely understood (at least not by me)

maybe it needs such K-PAX-sunglasses and a specific tendency to feel home in a madhouse to fully believe in tachionic concepts
