Oh, I understand...
Basically, usually the characters would have almost an airy voice, but usually lower if a guy or one of those girls who speak in whispers, or high-pitched if some kind of girly girl.
Also, depends on the appearance.

Well to tell you the truth...most Aime show's are in Japanese so...then they translate them into English! But here are some tips any way's! If your going to be people in high schools... Girls have thin soft voices(Unless the play an evil part then they have...fancy voices!)the boy's have thin ,deep ,or a mix of the two!depending on if there jock's or the normal guy's ! So it normally depends on who and how your character's act!I'm not realy sure about your character's but...I hope you do good and that I could have helped!

I would hazard a guess and say just talk. Unless you are not American and have an accent, you should do fine. Otherwise, study some American dubbed stuff and practice.

its not about the accent. its all about the words, the voice. you have to know how to express certain emotions. be one with the character XD grasshopper. its about becoming d chrctr. if she
's a rebellious punk (eg.) be like one. tips:
1. cute girl hv dis kinda like childish tone.
2.tough guy sound manly, but sometimes they don't. like kenshin, the seiyu was a woman.
3. don't try to copy d jpns seiyu's style. create ur own, so that it appeal to d language n d culture.
