I agree with you. I might not agree with Bush on many things, but I also don't waste every spare moment I have, trashing him. These same people are also the people who worry about our relationship with the rest of the world and what we look like. Well we certainly prove that we're a diverse nation, don't we.. :)
If nothing else, it does go to show that Freedom of Speech certainly exists.

Oh? I seem to remember Blair's positive rating was absolutely dismal for quite a while before he resigned. "Bush's poodle"? Blair was more popular in the USA than he was in the UK. Payment for appointments to the House of Lords? Failure to improve the NHS?
This is only to say that any citizenry can dislike or despise their leader. It's just that Bush is such a complete idiot, Fascist warmonger draft-dodger arrogant incompetent doofus that we on this side of the Pond feel so strongly about him.

Most Americans don't like him because they believe he is a weak leader, he is arrogant and he is a liar. I don't really hate him, but his foreign policy most definitely is not the greatest in the world and is very interventional in ideology. I wish he was not so stubborn when it came to certain matters like the Iraq War and that he should have never invaded Iraq in the first place.

If you really want to know, many f the people on this board are children. They only know what they see and they see mentally handicapped people on here spouting their BS. Now I know for a fact they are mentally handicapped cause my brother works for a mental clinic and he says they come in to counseling bragging how they are on Yahoo Answers and posting lies and hateful remarks to inflame people and piss them off.
Don't believe anything you see on this board. Most of the hate posters are mental and others are children. Most of the con postings that are inflammatory are in response to the mental liberals.

Hmm... I didn't know we did :) Democrats don't like him because they didn't vote for him. When things go wrong people look at someone to point fingers at, and the leaders tend to get attacked no matter what.
I agree that we Americans tend to have anger issues, I mean no matter who's president, Bush or Gore, they're our leader and we need to chill out and give them some respect. They're trying their best whatever it may be.

I think the majority of what you hear is amplified greatly by the news media. They have an agenda and are working hard on an opportunity to replace him with a democrat.
The negative stories they have come up with have come up fruitless. So they must spin all that they have to make their points and effect the outcome of the final vote in 2008.

Maybe we are smarter.
Maybe we deplore bad behavior and decisions that cost soldiers their limbs and their lives.
Maybe Blair isn't as corrupt as Bush and hasn't done other things than simply send teen-aged soldiers to die in Iraq.
Maybe we are paying 300 times more due to Bush than the UK in blood, and tax revenue. The UK soldiers have been in Basra and in far less numbers.
So maybe we cannot compare apples with soy beans. Blair followed Bush's lead into Iraq at a far less extent. Blair also began a withdrawal plan, two years ago.
