I have many pictures as well as little things. For instance I have an old beat up book mark that she used to keep places in books she read me. I also have a pillow case that she brought over with her from Ireland. I think it's wonderful when I can pass these things down to my own children

I got given a dream/ fortune teller book that was my great great grans, (my gran is 93). It is a bit spooky but is also very accurate so far and has predicted lots of event for me and my sister. It;'s all pretty vague though so could be coincidence - eg: my husband is tall dark and handsome as they predicted when I was 17.

When my Grandma died we found a bible that had all the names of the family it had belonged to in it along with their family tree. It went back a long way and was fascinating reading for a bible!

When my grandma died many years ago, each of her grandchildren was able to take 1 item to remember her. Some picked crystal dishes or fancy plates. I picked the A&W rootbeer mug that she made me rootbeer floats in when I visited. It is in my china cupboard along side my fanciest crystal, where I can see it every day and remember my special grandma.

He has a sword as well from a few times great- relative, but I forget which one or why.

I have to say it is a fantastic kilt and really really heavy. My mum has his photo album in this there photo's of him in the desert with his uniform on in his kilt I love these photo's too amazing record of his life as a desert rat.
