i these days finished a e book that became right into slightly in need of a million,000 pages, approximately 850. There are 3 greater in the sequence, all around a similar length. It became right into a very sturdy e book, because of the fact it did not tell the story from basically one attitude, so it on no account have been given to be boring. counsel became into printed with the aid of a number of diverse sources, so in spite of the actuality that the reader often knew became into happening, the characters now and back did not. And in spite of the actuality that it became into advised from the viewpoint of seven or 8 people, all the thoughts intertwined and what became into happening one place became into going to be significant someplace else in a protracted time. If everybody is involved, the e book is "A activity of Thrones", it quite is the 1st in the sequence "A music of Ice and fire", by utilising George R.R. Martin.

I'm not sure about the number of pages, but I think either Gone With the Wind or Clive Barker's Imagica. I'd say Stephen King's The Stand, but I skipped a hundred pages in the middle of that one! LOL

How long is Charlie & The Chocolate Factory? Strike that -- I've read the People's Almanac by David Wallechinski & Irving Wallace, which is around 1000-1500 pages or so -- about 3.5 to 4 inches thick.

Does the Dark Tower count by Steven KIng? It may have 7 books to it but you can't stop at the first with out getting to the quest until the seventh book in which the story is intended? Though I agree with most the Bible is the longest.

Off the top of my head: New Jerusalem Bible, Regular Edition, 2100+ pages, including footnotes. My favorite bible.

I had books just as large or larger when I was in college, but I believe that the paper was much thicker and so there were fewer pages.

Possibly the biggest: The Borland C++ Reference Manual. (A real page-turner)

I read a book that was 6000 pages, but it was broken up in 6 books. In one book, I think 1300 is the largest, besides an encyclopedia or other reference.
