Ok try to follow me here. I work in a department store where there is a public restroom that we employees use too. They layout is urinal, urinal, stall. The urinals are right next to each other (a little too close IMO) with a small divider between them. The stall is to the right of those. Got it? Ok here's the question. You come in to pee, there's a guy at a urinal. You would have to squeeze in right next to him if you wanted to use the other one. Or, you could go to the stall in all it's glorious privacy, which is what i do. But it seems every time i'm the first one in, and using a urinal, the next person in will squeeze right in next to me. This isn't a homophobic issue it's an uncomfortable stage-fright sort of thing. Why do people refuse to pee in stalls? What would you do? Thanks in advance.

Maybe the guy chooses the urinal right next to you and not the stall b/c (1) he feels that if he chooses the stall, you might possibly think that he has someting to hide and he chse the stall for privacy issues related to a small penis or something to be ashamed or embarrassed about with his member. OR (2) if he chose the stall, you might think he has to do a Number 2 which is slightly embarassing in a public restroom. Or (3) Maybe he chooses the urinal right next to you on purpose to prove that he is NOT homophobic or uncomfortable peeing in close proximity to another guy. Who the hell knows? I'm a girl, but this is all I could fathom.

There is just not much good can be said about men's public restrooms. They are terrible places with foul odors and too many times I have encountered creepy guys cruising the men's room, that is just creepy not a homophobe either but honestly that is just sick. Yes go to the stall they are horrid too but at least you get a little privacy.

Ya know, KidCuervo, if I were you, I'd go straight to the stall "in all it's glorious privacy" since apparently, those other guys seem to get no stage fright at all. Yep, that's what I'd do b/c you and I know that the next person entering will come a-squeezin'!

You just have shy kidneys. Try saying something funny to ease the tension, like "Hey! Take a look at the size of THIS!"
