Can you please give me any information on why you got admitted into the school? or how many students get accepted every year?

My friend got accepted for dance. It was incredibly competitive. I think they only accept 8% of applicants a year. She had to audition several times after her inital piece.

You should really check the school website for more info on what you have to do. http://www.juilliard.edu/

Since it is so competitive you should also research other schools like NYU, Northwestern, etc.

Good Luck

I agree with Ballerina Kim. Definitely check into other schools as well as looking into Juilliard's website. You may find a program that would be better suited to your specific interests in drama. Besides, there are many more fantastic actors that have come out of schools other than Julliard than have come out of Juilliard. ;~)

Try to find the place that feels best for your needs and personality. Not everyone needs a cut-throat atmosphere right off the bat. There's enough of that in the working world!

If you want imput from a current student, you can contact admissions offices or program heads at Juilliard and ask if they can connect you with a current student who would be willing to share their experience. There's always somebody who wants to talk about it.

Music program or theatre program? I'll figure theatre program since you put it in this category. I do know people who went and a number of 'famous' actors have gone there. It is VERY competitive. I can tell you one thing. In auditions, they are looking for actors who are both talented in the 'internal' side as well as the 'external' i.e., move well, have voice training, etc. Lots of schools don't care that much about the physical. They also have very rigorous physical training. My former voice articulation teacher was the voice articulation at Julliard and he was the best. But VERY strict!
