Previa doesn't have a timing belt, chain driven. I would check the air intake tube on this vehicle, they are prone to cracking and causing a lean condition.This is the tube that leads from the air filter to the intake manifold. Cracks are real common around the clamps that secure them. that If you do not find any cracks, you may have an ignition misfire where you will have to remove the passenger front seat and the access panel underneath to access the spark plugs / wires. Use only dealer parts for this tune up, the work is too hard to use cheaper, less reliable aftermarket parts. If you tune this vehicle you will not have to worry about it for years. About 130 cost for ignition parts.

I will note that the Previa does emit a shudder while at idle. If you know Toyota pick ups it is very similar o the 22-re with its shake at idle.

The timing belt might need to be readjusted.
