As far as material things, I manage the finances in the house (I use to be an accountant haha) and I just go spend it when I know the money is abundant.
As far as getting my way the flirty or pouty method works 99% of the time!!!

Well. That's kind of vague.
But generally you ask politely, then come up with reasons why you want it, and why you need it, and how it will make life oh so wonderful. If you can't answer those questions they you don't need to have this 'something' anyway.
