We're approaching half a trillion dollars spent on the war in Iraq. That's $500,000,000,000. That's a lot of taxpayer money. That should have bought us something don't you think?

Maybe we captured the guy responsible for killing over 3,000 Americans on 9/11? No, he had nothing to do with the invasion of Iraq.

Maybe we broke up and destroyed his group of terrorists? No, in fact our invasion of Iraq has recruited MORE terrorists to the cause according to our own intelligence estimate released last fall. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/24/world/middleeast/24terror.html?ex=1316750400&en=da252be85d1b39fa&ei=5088

Maybe we have at least weakened them? No, according to a recent threat assessment al queda is back to pre 9/11 strength.

Maybe if the news media could focus on some of the positive aspects of this war instead of focusing on their agenda, people would have a different perspective on this war.

But that won't happen until a democrat gets into office. Once a democrat holds the office, we will probably get daily reports as to infrastructure rebuilding, insurgent casualties, schools rebuilt, roads, water, electricity. Ya know the stuff they withhold from us now.

It funded the war. So it got us weapons and troops and training and food and housing and other related things. Much of the money though is actually just printed against the mint and just putting the country in debt. Thats why our dollar is the lowest value its been in quite a while in comparison to other money. But life goes on things will change hopefully well make it through.

I keep telling my father, as Long as Obama is President, to buy GOld!!! He might get a sanction levied on us, if he continues. Remember we are filing a complaint against China for undervaluing their money. All they're doing is locking down their value to our dollar. If we win, China will turn around and file a complaint against us about undervaluing our money!!!
