I've been trying for over a month but their reg has been closed for quite a while it seems... Could anyone help me out? Thanks!

no one will most likely give you a code unless they can trust you, because their rules are that if you invite someone, and they leech, and don't seed, then they will ban YOU and the person that gave you the code.
Just watch for open registrations.

You didn't try very hard then. I know of at least two occasions when they've had open registration within the last month.
