Hi, do you think they will ever put Q in a Bond film again? Apparently he is not going to be in the next Bond film, do you think he will ever return?

Q really did not exist in the books. there was no single individual- it was " Q" branch which evolved to the individual Q, so there might not be a big push to bring him back since they are trying to get back to the " essence" of Bond- the darker, rough around the edges agent
The person who played the original Q ,Desmond Llewelyn, died in a car accident 8 years ago.
I can say I had not been pleased with the change in actors initially because i really liked Pierce Brosnan and still do BUT I have to give credit to Daniel Craig. He has come the closest to what Bond's character really is like in the novels and short stories. The humor was screen play adaption that does not exist as much in the original writings of Ian Fleming

Maybe but it won't be the same.

To the guy who said that last 007 was nothing because it had no humour and none of the gadgets, that was the whole point
DOH!!!

They went back to the beginning to show the earlier bond.

Wasn`t at all impressed with the last outing of 007,it had lost a lot of the original humour and gadgets invented by Q,so I think it would be good to get back to the original theme and give Q back his part...

They probably will, now that they replaced Brosnan and started over at the beginning. Maybe John Clease will play him now that R is gone.
