A defeat for America and a victory for terrorism!

They will view America as a cowardly country who fights with one hand behind their back and runs away when it gets ugly.

It wouldn't be "a small county" kicking us out. It would be terrorists trained, supplied & funded by Iran.

I think it would certainly be the case that for us to leave Iraq before the country is stable would be percieved as a defeat for freedom, moreso after the fact when the country decends into chaos. It won't be a matter of a small country kicking us out. The Iraqi government wants us to stay for now. The only entity "kicking" us out is the American people. Unfortunately failure is right around the corner, but it doesn't have to be that way, it's just the choice Americans are making.

one could legimitally argue both sides of the issue. i think it would be a defeat for freedom because if we withdraw the Iraq army won't be trained well enought to fight, and the government won't know how to govern democratically.
